Rotating Craft Carousel 68% off

Today Im sharing ONE of the black friday deals I scored last week. I have been wanting this rotating carousel at Potterybarn for awhile to hold all of our craft supplies.

Obviously, I didn't want to pay $40 for a crayon holder....
Michaels and Hobby Lobby had similar ones but were priced the same or even HIGHER than the Potterybarn Kids one.

I chose the one at Michael's on Black Friday. It was regularly priced at $49.99, but was on sale for $22.69. I also had a coupon to get an ADDITIONAL 30% off of sale items, which brought my total down to $15.88. Steal!
Originally I planned to paint inorange like the Potterybarn one but I really like it white and it seems to blend into my kitchen. lol

Christmas Garland and Wreath for under $20

I'm very excited to share my first Christmas Decorating post on the blog. Today will be a 9 foot garland and matching wreath for a total for $20 or less.

My best friend in this savings project is the good ole DOLLAR TREE.

First, I'd like to share a glimpse of my tree. It isn't finished yet, I still haven't decided on a topper yet. lol.

Pinterest gets all the credit for my tree looking fabulous this year. My inspiration for my tree came from here, here, and here.

Here are some of the ornaments on our tree:

Fleur de lis came from Roussels in Gonzales
Red & Gold Two Tone came from Dollar Tree
Big Ben from PotteryBarn

Here are the supplies I used for the garland and the wreath:

Now, on to the Garland first. I used a plain 9 foot garland I found at Walmart for $2.00

Stretch the garland out across your table or tie it between two chairs.
Evenly spread all the branches out.

Add your deco mesh and tie off every 6 inches or so. Remember to pouf it out as you go.

Add your wired ribbon and form a bow every 8-12 inches.

Add your ornaments using pipe cleaners or secure to the garland branches.

The finished garland can be used on the top of your fireplace, hanging from your fireplace, entryway tables or doors. I plan to make another for my foyer or outdoor patio.

Next up is the wreath.

Extend all the branches on your wreath, this will make the project go much faster.

Weave your deco mesh throughout your wreath in 3-4 inch sections and secure with garland branches.

DO NOT cut your deco mesh into sections.

Add your tinsel garland around the edges of your deco mesh. Secure with garland branches

Add ornaments and accents using pipe cleaners garland branches or hot glue.
I used pipe cleaners for mine so I can take everything off if needed.

Total Project Cost:
Wreath- $2.50
Garland- $2.00
4 Large Ornaments for Garland- $4.00
3 Packs of Misc. Ornaments- $3.00
Ribbon- $3.00
Deco Mesh- $3.00 (on sale 50% off at Hobby Lobby)
Tinsel Garland- $1.00
Misc. ornaments I already owned (free)
TOTAL $18.50

*After I purchased my wreath and garland at Walmart, our Dollar Tree came out with wreaths and garland as well. If you purchase from there, you will save an additional $2.50, which will bring your total cost to $16.00 for both. You could also save more money if you use all your existing ribbon and ornaments. I put up my tree first and completely decorated it before I started this project. That way whatever was “leftover” in the ornament box, I knew I could use on my projects. This is also why I used pipe cleaners to secure everything, in case I need to take anything off for next year.

Disney Store Specials, 35% off Minnie Toys

Today, I will do a post focusing on buying several Christmas presents for under $50, for BOYS and GIRLS at the Disney Store. Disney is having a sale on a few medium/big ticket items as some are marked down to $15.00.

For the girls, 3 items I found on sale are:

Minnie Mouse Cooking Play Set on sale for $20.00, reg. $29.50

Minnie Mouse Beauty Set on sale for $15.00, reg. $19.50

Your subtotal for these items would be $50.00
I found a code online DRVCMEMBER to save $5.00 off your purchase of $50 or more. It says online the code is only eligible with a Disney Visa Card, but it took the discount off my total at checkout with a regular visa card, so hopefully it will work with other cards as well.

With the discount, your total will be brought down to $45.00 which you get 3 big Disney Toys. Without the discount and sale prices, your total would be $68.50, that's a 35% savings on your purchase.

For the boys I found:

The Avengers Figure Play Set on sale for $15.00, regular $19.50

My subtotal for these items is only $48.99 so I wasn't able to use the coupon code, but its still a great deal because I was able to get 4 popular toys for under $50. The last toy was also 23% off which saved me $4.50, which means my total would have been $53.49

Free Bodysuit/Onesie at Gymboree

Use the link below to sign up for a free bodysuit (up to $7.50 value)with any $10 purchase.
Even if you don't have a little one, this would make for a great birthday present or Christmas present.
Personally, I would buy a $10.00 gift card to make sure I don't spend anymore than I have to to receive the free gift. This way you could give a onesie and a $10.00 gift card (a $17.50 value) and you only pay  $10.00 for it.

Ebay Finds, 90% off Retail

We saw this Disney Cars pit crew shirt in the Disney Store for Matthew the other day which retailed for $19.50.  The shirt was adorable on him, but sorry Disney, the shirt isn't worth $20 in my opinion.

As soon as we got home, I looked on ebay for one, or a similar one and found an AWESOME deal.
I found a pre-owned shirt that looked almost exactly like it for $1.99 with no bids on it.
 Thats 90% off retail!

If you are okay with pre-owned clothings and items, CHECK EBAY before you purcahse anywhere else. I also check Amazon as well for theie "open box" items which are discounted because they are open or the packaging box is damaged but the actual product is new.

Goblin Kids $30 Value for only $15

Hey there everyone!
Today is a good day for.....TOYS.
Head on over to www.plumdistrict.com where you will find a Goblin Kids $30 (gift certificate) for only $15.00. Hurry, this offer expires in 3 days. Head on over to their Facebook page as well because there are coupon codes on their wall.

Now, on how to make the most of the $15.00 gift certificate. Normally I try to find one item that is the same price as the gift certificate or slightly over so I am basically buying the item at 50% off.
Or, if you are looking for a big ticket item, say $50 item, you would be getting it for $15 off  :)

I ordered this Transportation Play Puzzle from Sevi for $31.99 . This will be a Christmas present for Matthew and I really love that it is a puzzle that includes a box so you don't loose the pieces. And we love wooden toys :)

Anyways, the coupon code "halloween" is still working but I couldn't combine it with my gift certificate because my only code can be used per order and the gift certificate is in the form of a coupon code. Always look for coupon codes to maximize your savings though.

Using my gift certificate, my $31.99 was discounted to $1.99
Add the $15.00 I paid for the gift certificate and I got a $31.99 toy for only  $16.99
That's 47% savings

Bubble Necklace, $10.89 INCLUDES shipping

I am in love with these necklaces....the knock off  J Crew one of course, lol.
But now way is the disount mommy paying $150 for ONE fashion necklace.

I've ordered 2 already and they are gorgeous with just a plain solid color shirt. Obviously they are not 18K gold BUT they do look almost identical.

They are tons of these on ebay right now. The cheapest ones I have found are from overseas, which means they will take awhile to get here but it is definitely worth it. I placed two separate orders for my blue one and my purple one. One of them arrived in less than 2 weeks and the other took a little over 3 weeks to get here.

Here are the ones I have purchased, I purchased for a penny and the shipping was $10.88.....STEAL!!!!!!

Earth's Best Baby Food 68% off Retail

Exciting baby food deal today on Earth's Best Baby Food Cases.

These cases retail for $10.99 at Babies R Us for a pack of 12 jars of baby food.
Right now, they are a Big Lots for only $3.50 a case!
 That's huge savings !!!!

At 92 cents a jar retail, that's expensive for only one jar of food.
Purchasing at Big Lots, you will get them for 29 cents a jar, which is unheard of for any baby food.
I also saw some individually priced jars for 30-40 cents a piece which is still an amazing deal. Earths best is generally 89-99 cents a jar at Babies R Us, and 69-89 cents at Walmart.

Also, if you are a member of Big Lots Buzz Club, they will occasionally send you a 20% off your purchase coupon by email.

Combine this with their already low price of $3.50, and you will get a case for $2.80!!!!! Which comes out to  23 cents a jar.

I'm hoping I receive one of those 20% off coupon coupons this weekend so I can go back and purchase more.

Elle Wallet-Super Clearance at Kohl's

Went to Kohl's on my birthday (with my 15% off coupon of course) and I found this super cute Elle wallet. It was on clearance for $19.60, originally $49.00

Unfortunatly, they only had 1 and the zipper was broken. :(

I scanned it and ordered in on the kiosk in store rather than ordering from home.

You get  FREE SHIPPING on almost anything when you order from the kiosk in store. You can also use promo codes and kohls cash at the kiosk as well. Wallet was marked down to $19.60, I used my free 15% code emailed to me, along with my $10.00 Kohl's cash and got the wallet for $6.66!

4 days later it was in the mailbox! Super fast shipping too!
So, by using my KOhl's cah and coupon code,
I got an originally priced $49.00 wallet for $6.66
