I found a code online DRVCMEMBER to save $5.00 off your purchase of $50 or more. It says online the code is only eligible with a Disney Visa Card, but it took the discount off my total at checkout with a regular visa card, so hopefully it will work with other cards as well.

Ebay Finds, 90% off Retail

We saw this Disney Cars pit crew shirt in the Disney Store for Matthew the other day which retailed for $19.50.  The shirt was adorable on him, but sorry Disney, the shirt isn't worth $20 in my opinion.

As soon as we got home, I looked on ebay for one, or a similar one and found an AWESOME deal.
I found a pre-owned shirt that looked almost exactly like it for $1.99 with no bids on it.

 Thats 90% off retail!

 

 

 

If you are okay with pre-owned clothings and items, CHECK EBAY before you purcahse anywhere else. I also check Amazon as well for theie "open box" items which are discounted because they are open or the packaging box is damaged but the actual product is new.

Went to Kohl's on my birthday (with my 15% off coupon of course) and I found this super cute Elle wallet. It was on clearance for $19.60, originally $49.00

Unfortunatly, they only had 1 and the zipper was broken. :(

 I scanned it and ordered in on the kiosk in store rather than ordering from home.

You get  FREE SHIPPING on almost anything when you order from the kiosk in store. You can also use promo codes and kohls cash at the kiosk as well. Wallet was marked down to $19.60, I used my free 15% code emailed to me, along with my $10.00 Kohl's cash and got the wallet for $6.66!

Target Martini Shaker only 99 cents!!!!

When I went to Target yesterday, all the Halloween items in store were 70% off already! Its only 6 days past Halloween ! lol
Which is so suprising to me, normally it stays at 50% for while and then they only have junk left by the time it gets to 70-80% off.
Enough rambling, I found this Stainless Steel Martini Shaker, regularly priced at $9.99, which is about what any shaker costs now at Target.

At 70% off, it SHOULD have been $2.50 which was fine by me because its SS and thats still a great deal. It rang up at 99 cents! Wow! At 90% off,  I'll take 2 please!

My first thought was that it didn't look "halloween" to me at all, it had a skull on it that said "poison" on it....sounds about right :)

I plan on gifting the second one in mix drink basket for a girlfriend for Christmas, but this would also be a great birthday or bachelorette party gift along with a bottle of liquor.   :)

DIY Jewlery Rack- FREE!!!!

Today's post is how to make a free jewelry rack/bracelet holder. I simply used items I already had in my home. 
I was inspired by Pinterest as always. There are very similar bracelet holders using cd holders and paper towel holders.


 Here are my supplies:

Scrap Fabric
Empty bluum box
2 paper towel rolls
scrap 12x12 cardstock paper

 

 

 

First, I hot glued my cardstock around the paper towel rolls to make them thicker and more stable. I used two sheets on each, patterened side facing the in.

 

Next, I cut a hole in the top of my box about the same size as the paper towel roll.

 

 

 I then wrapped my bluum box like a present with my scrap fabric. Using hot glue only on the two folded sides.

 

Hot Glue your remaining scrap fabric around both paper towel rolls and trim off any excess.

After cutting another hole in the center of the fabric covered box, insert the paper towel roll.

 

And there you have it, you are Mrs. Thor! Just kidding. lol.

 

 

Turn your box back down and hot glue another roll on the top of that one. Add lots of glue around the hole and the base so it stays secure.

 

 

Let it dry this way for about 5 minutes to make sure the glue sets and you are done.

I have been using the bottom of mine to hold my bobby pins, rings, earrings and tweezers.
